Amiga pages
Well, The Amigados Reference Manual
makes my feeble pages look rather silly, so you should probably look at that first, or as well.
Broadly speaking, there are currently two things here:
- Introductory stuff about the Amiga operating
system
- An explanation of how amigados and workbench work, mostly aimed
at people who are manual-less (due to e.g. having a 1200, which came with
useless manuals, or having bought a second-hand Amiga which turned out to have
no accompanying manuals).
- Useful utilities
- Some bolt-ons which make life easier. Some are even de facto
standards, and you'll find that a lot of shareware / freeware will expect
you to have them.
Of course, these two sections aren't totally independent - the section for
beginners will say that some bolt-ons are essential - such as LHA and
installer.
